Cleaning Wipe the wood with a soft cloth, either dry or soaked in soapy water and wrung out well. For more thorough cleaning, use a suitable wood cleaner or a mild soapy water solution. Immediately remove excess water and soap residue with a dry cloth, so that the wood doesn't remain damp for too long. Wood is a natural material in constant evolution, so over time the fibers may lift and the surface may look slightly rough. Finish by lightly sanding the surface with fine 220-grit sandpaper in the direction of the wood grain. You can also use sandpaper to remove marks that are difficult to remove by simple cleaning. It is necessary to maintain the furniture with a special oak oil or vegetable oil. Note that the wood may change color when the oil is applied. The oil protects and nourishes the wood. Cleaning, sanding and autres treatments should always be carried out in the direction of the wood grain.
