The radio features a display on which you can view information about DAB and the DAB service. You can also listen to music from an MP3 player, iPhone or iPod via port AUX. For audio, you can use a more powerful hard disk drive system than the radio, making it easier to listen to your favorite music. One of the USB sockets offers a maximum voltage of 5V / 1A for powering smartphones, flashlights and cup warmers.
The Sangean DDR-47 BT features a timer and snooze function, in addition to basic infrared tuning.
