Gejst Table lamp Leery

The table lamp Leery is designed by Kasper Friis Egelund for Gejst. Pure round shapes (a sphere and a cylinder) create this rather minimalist yet distinctive lamp. To emphasize the simple design approach, a “recess” of the cord has been almost obviously made. To balance the lamp, a concrete piece is placed at the back to keep it upright. An E27 socket is mounted inside the body of the lamp. The raw industrial look fits perfectly into the world of Gejst. The table lamp Leery embraces and protects the light, hence its name Leery. Kasper Friis Egelund is the designer of the table lamp Leery. Despite a relatively young career, his portfolio already includes projects for international and Danish companies. Kasper Friis Egelund on the inspiration for the table lamp Leery: “Drawing inspiration from a wide range of creative fields such as architecture, graphic design, and art, I strive to create designs with a distinctive Scandinavian expression that is also based on a graphic and minimalist nature.”
