The furniture is bleached, i.e. treated with soap containing a white pigment. Cleaning Wipe the wood with a dry or well wrung-out cloth. For a more thorough cleaning, use a suitable wood cleaner or a soapy water solution composed of 1 liter of warm demineralized water and 1/4 dl of soap flakes. Remove excess soap immediately with a dry cloth, so that the wood doesn't remain damp for too long. Wood is a natural material in constant evolution, so over time, the fibers may lift and the surface may look slightly rough. Finish by lightly sanding the surface with fine 220-grit sandpaper in the direction of the wood grain. You can also use sandpaper to remove marks that are difficult to remove by simple cleaning. Maintain the furniture with a suitable wood soap, preferably one containing a white pigment, if you wish to preserve the light color. Note that the wood may change color when the soap is applied. Wood soap protects and nourishes wood. Cleaning, sanding and autres treatments should always be carried out in the direction of the wood grain.
